Youth Creating Jobs For Youth With Your Support

Youth Creating Jobs For Youth is th bet way to reduce youth unemployment. If they are mentored and resourced into starting their own business, they will employ other unemployed youth and reduce the annual rate of 250,000 unemployed youth.

YOU can make a difference by donating as much as you can to support us in building the capacity of at least 5,000 unemployed youth, placing them into jobs or helping them start their own businesses. Youth unemployment creates poverty and depression, which lead to, homelessness, single parenthood, drug and alcohol abuse, fraud, violence, riots and their implications.

At Totally Youth, we give needy unemployed youth access to:

ICT, Catering, Fashion and Beauty Centres
Practical hands-on work and business experience
Transitional Incubation and Internship
Laptops, Internet, tools and supplies
Office and Knowledge Spaces
Business Facilitation
Carrer Facilitation

WE SUPPORT BUSINESS GROWTH TO FACILITATE EMPLOYMENT

Totally Youth provides various types of management support to companies and groups. We believe that if we support companies to grow there will be more employment for the youth who are not entrepreneurs. We therefore deliver our "Why Are You Here" series of seminars and workshops to companies to support them at all stages of:

Restructuring
Team Building
Pension Planning
Change Management

We are convinced that the employer needs the employee as much as the employee needs the employer. Consequently we support both sides to ensure harmony and mutual growth. Save Kayayei From Poverty

A project training Kayayei as housekeepers, house helps, babysitters, cleaners and cooks to place them in the hospitality industry and households. This will give them shelter, healthcare, jobs.

Greater Accra Community Development Programme

A programme educating the youth in poor, under-served, low-income, communities on sanitation, health and gainful livelihoods and supports the community towards development through self-help.

The programme has so far donated detergents, exercise books, pens, pencils and T-shirts, etc, to 14 youth organizations at a workshop on health and sanitation focusing on cholera and ebola

The programme will be replicate in all the regions of Ghana to ensure bottom-up development to meet government's top-down development

Kayayei are girls and young women forced to migrate to Accra and other big cities due to poverty, mental and physical abuse. They come mostly from under-served, low-income, poor communities in the north of Ghana. They live in abject poverty mainly because they have no employable skills and there are no casual jobs in the communities where they live. Unfortunately, they end up as vulnerable head porters in markets and live from hand to mouth. They are beaten, robbed and raped. Some of them end up as prostitutes, single parents or go through unsafe abortions. Poor health, hunger, unwanted pregnancies and child/infant mortality are high among the Kayayei

We will train and place them as Domestic Assistants. Those with entrepreneurial skills will be incubated to start their own business as Caterers, Fashion Designers or Beauticians, in our Business Centres. They need our help to become productive and responsible citizens. Save one Kayayoo today
